Star Import Brad Smulders Not Returning In 2010
The Bartercard Gold Coast Blue Tongues have confirmed today they will not be re-signing Brad Smulders to a contract in 2010.
Last year’s AIHL record breaking leading scorer and MVP has run out of time to make it for this season. Blue Tongues Management were obviously hoping that time would permit Brad to make it back, however his commitments to his new team in Holland have taken priority.
The Blue Tongues wish Brad all the best in his upcoming season in Europe, and have indicated that Brad is most definitely interested in coming back to play for the Blue Tongues in the future. Management will make their decision on Brad’s replacement in the coming week.
