It does not get any better than this weekend at Iceland on the Gold Coast.

The Bartercard Gold Coast Blue Tongues play their last home games for the season 2012 against the league leading Melbourne Ice.

Fortunately for the Blue Tongues the pressure is not on them it is on the Melbourne Ice. Last year’s Champions have only lost one game this year, and last weekend in Melbourne the Ice could not put away the fourth placed Blue Tongues in regulation time.

What will happen if the pundits are all wrong and the Blue Tongues take the first game tomorrow (Saturday), and then the pressure is on for the Ice on Sunday. Not because they have any issues in making the final four, the Ice will finish first. However, what a great opportunity for the Blue Tongues to walk away from this weekend knowing that psychologically the Ice could be asking themselves why are we winless against the Blue Tongues.

The team is really looking forward to all supporters to come down and bring a few people with then to cheer on the Blue Tongues over the Melbourne Ice in what will be the best two days of ice hockey this year on the Gold Coast.
