Blue Tongues, sponsors & fans hit the beach

The Gold Coast Blue Tongues, their sponsors and their fans got together today for a fun day at the beach; not the usual place you expect to find an Ice Hockey Team.

Holding their fundraiser cruise to Couran Point Resort on South Stradbroke Island, the group enjoyed warm temperatures, fun games and of course, great company on the 5 hour excursion.

The days activities started out with a 55 minutes cruise on the "Big Cat" up to the Resort. As the weather was spectacular the top deck of the boat was the ideal spot for photographs, taking in the sun, or just joining in in the varied conversations.

Bocco (Boules) occupied the group for most the day, as teams of 2 paired off against each other in what at times became a very competitive event.

The group arrived back on the mainland at 4pm.

Sun, fun & a great time was had by all.
